MEAL Officer at Street Child

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive MEAL frameworks and tools for ongoing projects to track progress and measure impact effectively
• Collect, compile, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate accurate reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct regular monitoring visits to project sites to ensure compliance with organizational standards and donor requirements
• Facilitate learning sessions and workshops to share findings, best practices, and recommendations with program teams and partners
• Ensure accountability mechanisms are in place to gather beneficiary feedback and address concerns promptly and transparently
• Collaborate with program managers to set realistic targets, indicators, and key performance metrics aligned with organizational objectives
• Support proposal development and reporting by providing data-driven insights and evidence of program effectiveness and challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, or related fields; a Master's degree is an advantage
• Proven experience of at least 3 years working in MEAL roles within nonprofit organizations, preferably in child-focused programs
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methodologies, tools, and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, or similar)
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement MEAL frameworks, including Logical Framework Approaches and Theory of Change models
• Excellent data management skills combined with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex information for diverse audiences
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience engaging beneficiaries, partners, and stakeholders in feedback and learning processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team under tight deadlines, with excellent organizational and time management skills
