Job Summary

• We are recruiting for the role of a Hospital Matron, who will be responsible for overseeing nursing care and services within the hospital.
• The Matron oversees nursing staff and ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role includes leadership, supervision, staff development, and ensuring adherence to clinical and administrative standards.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision:

• Provide direct supervision and mentorship to all nursing staff.
• Ensure nursing duties are performed effectively and compassionately.
• Act as a liaison between nurses, doctors, and hospital management.
• Quality of Care
• Monitor and maintain high standards of patient care.
• Ensure compliance with medical protocols and hygiene standards.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and support crisis resolution.
• Prepare and manage nursing rosters and schedules.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
• Support orientation and training of new nurses.
• Recommend staff for training and professional development.
• Address performance issues and provide feedback as needed.
• Ensure nursing practices comply with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• BNSC qualification with valid license.
• Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
