About the Role

• We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Maths & Physics Tutor to provide high-quality academic support to university-level students.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong subject mastery, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex concepts to enhance student understanding and academic performance.

Key Responsibilities 

• Deliver engaging and well-structured tutoring sessions in Mathematics and Physics for university students.
• Provide support with coursework, exam preparation, and project guidance.
• Develop personalized lesson plans and learning materials tailored to each student’s academic needs.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback and performance reports.
• Use digital tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, whiteboard apps) for online teaching, where applicable.
• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning skills.
• Stay updated with current university curricula and teaching methods.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all student interactions.

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s or PhD preferred).
• Proven experience tutoring or teaching Maths and/or Physics at the university level.
• Excellent command of both theoretical and applied aspects of the subjects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using online learning tools.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience with standardized test preparation (e.g., GRE, SAT, or similar).
• Familiarity with educational software and e-learning platforms.
• Previous university lecturing or academic mentoring experience.
