    Mathematics Teacher

    • At QEFAS Preparatory School, we are seeking a dedicated educator with a deep understanding of Mathematics to shape student comprehension and prepare them for local and foreign examinations like UTME, SAT, and WAEC. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing the understanding of these subjects for our students.

    Key Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree, Masters or higher in Mathematics or related field.
    • Teaching qualification/certification is preferred.
    • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level, colleges or university.
    • Strong knowledge of the Nigerian educational curriculum and assessment methods.
    • ICT compliance
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to engage and motivate students in the learning process.
    • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
    • Proximity to Akowonjo, Lagos, ensuring timely arrival for teaching duties.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the school community.

    Desirable- Possession of experience or credentials in English Language.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and deliver high-quality Physics lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
    • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
    • Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
    • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the school's Physics curriculum.
    • Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events as required.
    • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
    • Uphold school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment for all.
