We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Mathematics Editor to join our Publishing Division.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, editing, and reviewing educational manuscripts and materials in Mathematics, ensuring high editorial standards, curriculum relevance, and overall content quality.
The Company requires the services of the Editor at the Head Office, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Job Description
Carryout editorial work on manuscripts, including copy editing and proof reading
Draw up illustration briefs of book format for graphic artist and book designers
Devise editorial strategies for specific subjects
Work with Production Department on manuscripts till the final product is published
Brief sales representatives on new titles
Monitor and review market performance of published books
Provide technical insights to Sales representatives for campaigns and product descriptions.
Qualification & Required Skills
A relevant first degree (B.Sc.) in Mathematics, Statistics with a minimum of second-class lower division
At least three (3) years post-qualification experience in a similar position
Not more than 35 years of age
Must be thorough and have the ability to pay attention to details
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
