Materials Officer at Oilserv Limited

Job Summary

• Shall abreast himself with the Materials management processes and procedures and shall ensure compliance with same in the daily discharge of his duties.
• Processing of Purchase Requisitions (PRs) generated by SAP and raised directly for further review by the Materials team Lead

Responsibilities

• He shall drive the process of material inspection of all deliveredspare in a timely manner,and in line with the material receipt process in his spread
• Ensure the timely processing of material requisitions, work orders, e-mailrequests, for issuance of requested materials/spare parts to the end users.
• He shall ensure the proper put away of materials in designated Bin / storage locations in the  Warehouse.
• Generate Goods Receipt Note (GRN) through SAP, for all materials received into the  warehouse.
• Ensure proper housekeeping function in all storage locations and laydown areas.
• Carry out stock check on a daily basis to ensure stock accuracy and early detection of any error for quick correction.
• He shall track materials with expiration dates and advise first use to mitigate material      obsolesce and loss.
• Conduct periodic inventory count of materials to ascertain accurate Balance with system and physical quantities.
• Ensure real-time posting on SAP of all spare parts issued and confirm physicalbalance with   SAPquantity.
• Ensure physicaltracking/confirmation of recommended shelve life/expiration datesof materials  to preventobsolesce.
• Prepare weekly and monthlyreports of materialmovement (issuance and receipt) for submission to the Team lead.
• Maintain list of obsolete,excess, slow moving materials and advise the Team Lead on a  regular basis for possible disposal.

• Drive compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies, processes, procedures and applicable laws/legal requirements across Oilserv business.
• Take responsibility for their health & safety and those of stake holders across Oilserv business

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/HND in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administrations
• 5 Years post NYSC experience in Material Management/Supply Chain, Use of ERP (SAP knowledge on Material Management Module).
