Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Monitoring stock levels, determining when to replenish materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Material Handling:

• Receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and supplies. 

Coordination:

• Ensuring materials are delivered to the appropriate workstations or departments, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and communicating with vendors and suppliers.

Record Keeping:

• Maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking shipments, and preparing reports on inventory levels and deliveries. 

Quality Control:

• Verifying materials received from vendors, inspecting for quality, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality assurance standards. 

Skills and Qualifications:

Organizational and Time Management Skills:

• Essential for managing inventory, coordinating deliveries, and meeting deadlines. 

Communication Skills:

• Required for interacting with vendors, suppliers, and various departments within the organization. 

Attention to Detail:

Proficiency in Inventory Management Systems:

• Familiarity with electronic LMIS (Logistics Management Information System) or similar systems is often preferred. 

Knowledge of Supply Chain Management:

• Understanding the flow of materials from procurement to delivery is beneficial.
