Master / Captain at Pacific International Drilling

Responsibilities

• OIM is in ultimate command of the vessel and is the designated Person in Charge (PIC) under IMO protocol.
• He/she is responsible for supporting vessel operations, for the safety of all on board personnel, the protection of the environment and the preservation of the vessel and all assets;

Requirements

• Candidates should possess Unlimited/Unrestricted Master (STCW II/2) license;
• Command experience as a vessel Master on unlimited tonnage vessels.
• Experience in the use of on- board stability program plus 15 years experience.

Other Requirements:

• Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), West African Examinations Council (WAEC), or GCE O'Level.
• OND (Ordinary National Diploma) is equivalent to a 2-year Associate Degree in the United States, while HND or B.Sc. is equivalent to a 4-year Degree (at least 120 credits / units).
• Must be a Nigerian resident currently residing in Nigeria.
• Fluent English communication skills, both oral and written.
