Mason at Jesuit Memorial College

Job Summary

• The Mason will be responsible for the maintenance of structures, modification, and repair of broken or damaged tiles, fences and other works associated with the Maintenance Department.
• Overseeing the casting of broken cebs, drainage covers and washed off surfaces of driving or walking areas within the compound.
• Handles all masonary works within the college community.
• Helps out at sites whenever the need arises to ensure integration and efficiency.
• Plastering of places that require such a touch during maintenance of structures.
• Maintains all the drainage systems within the colleage community.
• Carries out any other associated jobs as may be directed by the Facility Manager.
• Partakes in the general works carried out by members of the department.

Qualifications and Experience

• SSCE or its equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role. Any relevant experience is an advantage.

Personal Qualities:

• Effective communication and presentation skills, good command of English Language, good understanding of adolescent psychology, good interpersonal skills, a team player, ability to work effectively with minimum supervision.
