Marketing Manager at Radio Now FM

JOB SUMMARY:

• We are looking  for an adept and dynamic marketer with love for radio, who will be responsible for driving strategic marketing initiatives that will generate revenue and keep the station competitive in the industry. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Revenue generation by meeting and exceeding revenue targets from selling the stations advertising package, sponsorship and other promotional opportunities.
• Constantly seek new revenue streams and explore innovative advertising solutions.
• Conduct market research by staying updated on industry trends, market conditions and business landscape to gather information that will be used to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Budget management – Develope and manage the sales and marketing budget through allocation of resources and monitoring expenses to ensure a positive return on investment.
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with local businesses, events, and community organizations.
• Manage  relationships  with existing and new  clients to ensure the fulfilment of contractual obligations and  client satisfaction thereby ensuring returning  business.  
• Work with the News and Editorial team to create compelling on-air experiences for listeners.
• Prepare marketing reports on key performance metrics and present findings to management for making informed decisions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in business, marketing, management or related field etc.
• Knowledge of the media industry  
• Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the radio broadcasting industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with radio programming and content is a plus
• Possess self-integrity
