    Marketing Executive

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and experienced Marketing Executive with proven experience in the Building Materials Industry.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and expanding market share across Lagos and its environs.
    • Candidates must have hands-on experience marketing and selling building materials such as cement, roofing sheets, tiles, sanitary wares, paints, steel products, plumbing materials, electrical materials, aluminium products, doors, windows, or other construction materials.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction and building materials market.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, architects, engineers, distributors, dealers, and retail customers.
    • Promote and sell the company's building materials to new and existing customers.
    • Conduct regular market visits to monitor customer needs, competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
    • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales transactions.
    • Manage key customer accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery.
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
    • Participate in product demonstrations, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
    • Follow up on outstanding payments and support debt recovery efforts where necessary.
    • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company's overall business objectives.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 3 years of sales and marketing experience within the Building Materials Industry.
    • Experience selling building materials is mandatory.
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    • Strong knowledge of the building materials market and distribution channels.
    • Existing network of contractors, developers, architects, engineers, distributors, dealers, and construction companies is highly desirable.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
    • Strong business development and customer acquisition skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Experience using CRM software or sales management tools is an added advantage.
    • Ability to work independently and travel within Lagos as required.
