Marketer at Jumbo Sports Mart

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch manager in promoting the company's existing brands and collaborating with management to introduce new products to the market.
• Assist the Branch manager in analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the branch meets their quotas and goals.
• Assist the Branch manager in researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the branch and company's marketing goals.
• Assist the Branch manager in gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.
• Assist the Branch manager in implementing new sales plans and advertising.
• Assist the Branch manager in maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
• Assist the Branch manager in preparing detailed reports on branch inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
• Assist the Branch manager to oversee and participate in the creation of digital and non-digital media for sales and promotion.
• Assist the Branch manager in managing branch sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
• Assist the Branch manager in developing your branch team through motivation, counselling, and product knowledge education.
• Assist the Branch manager to Achieve growth and hit sales targets.
• Assist the Branch manager to build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.

Qualifications

• Communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Proven experience as a marketing assistant
• Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
• Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
• Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and online applications (Invoicing, Inventory tools)
• HND; BSc in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage
