    Market Entry Specialist

    Location: Maitama, Abuja

    Job Description

    • We are currently looking for a Market Entry Specialist to support our next phase of growth, of which entails strengthening our investment and trade facilitation services and initiatives whilst also providing additional services such as project management, market entry research services, data mapping, and bespoke trainings and events targeted at the international community, whilst maintaining a viable presence in Nigeria where we operate from.

    Overall Job Purpose

    • Welcome2Africa International has been growing steadily and is now seeking to dramatically accelerate growth. The Market Entry Specialist will ensure the implementation and support of business information systems across multiple departments, identify problems and opportunities within the organization and ultimately provide solutions that help achieve the business/organizational goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Target SME export markets, especially in developing countries where w2a is well positioned
    • Identify the financing needs and risks of global value chains originating from the markets
    • Develop approaches to leverage resources through structured financing involving the structuring of risk layers to be borne by the Government, FI, and private finance, as well as all our stakeholders
    • Analyse market entry issues
    • Trade logistics constraints
    • Access to trade information and business intelligence in Nigeria and other countries market
    • Effective export promotion in the market
    • Access to commercial distribution networks across the globe
    • Collect and enter data into the CRM;
    • Update and maintain the CRM;
    • Build prospects and leads via Social Media

    Person Specification

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree with 3 - 7 years work experience.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems, data entry and research preferred;
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word);
    • Fluent in English, written and spoken, knowledge of other foreign languages will be an asset;
    • Good understanding of digital/online marketing principles and a passion to develop these skills;
    • Attention to detail and analytical skills;
    • Organized and able to manage tasks on time;
    • Experience in working independently as well as in a team
