Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Managing Director/CEO, for immediate employment, to handle the organization’s financial strategy and help in performing effective risk management.

Position Overview

• The Managing Director (MD) will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring financial sustainability, and overseeing the overall operations of the bank.
• The MD will drive business growth, manage risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote financial inclusion while maintaining high standards of corporate governance.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A Master’s Degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACIB, or similar qualifications are an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8–12 years of banking/financial services experience, with at least 5 years in senior management roles.
• Proven track record in microfinance banking, retail banking, or financial inclusion strategies.
• Strong experience in risk management, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership in business development and strategic management.
• In-depth understanding of microfinance regulations and policies
• Knowledge of fintech innovations, digital banking, and financial technology trends.
• Proven ability to build and inspire high-performing teams.

Reporting & Accountability:

• Reports directly to the Board of Directors.
• Works closely with regulatory bodies such as the CBN.
