    Account Manager - Insights

    • A management position with the essence being to support the qualitative head in growing the business and driving the Kantar strategy.
    • Understand what the client’s overall goals and objectives managing the client relationships, assisting with new business generation, delivering presentations as part of the project team, and managing and mentoring junior researchers.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Understand what the client’s overall goals and objectives,
    • Engaging with your clients, develop relationships, seek revenue and as a profile-raising opportunity.
    • Be responsible for identifying revenue opportunities and contributing to overall revenue target.
    • Take responsibility for advising on solutions to problems in reports and the reporting process.
    • Attend on-site days and de-brief key contacts on any requests/smaller project briefs that you have completed.
    • Lead development of appropriate methodological approach, and research tool development, including discussion guides and analytic templates
    • Prepare Goldstar oriented winning proposals and provide insight and thought leadership for team member’s proposals.
    • Take briefs from clients and lead the production of appropriate materials/presentations/written documentation in response to the brief.

    • Assist in coaching junior team members and Interns– sharing knowledge, encouraging a culture of learning and positive development.
    • Accountable for actively leading projects financially to drive positive GM and profit.
    • Working with the qual head to make strong pricing decisions (for sustainability)
    • Proactively work with team and suppliers for process improvement /cost savings while retaining quality

    The skills & experience needed

    • 5 year’s relevant market research experience in a research agency, client company, or management or marketing consultancy.
    • Demonstrate evidence of developing leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
    • Communicate effectively as well as demonstrate active listening whilst developing appropriate influencing skills
    • Lead all stages of projects from brief to presentation.
    • Be flexible, considerate, friendly and sensitive to others, displaying good social and communication skills
    • Take ownership of your self-development in completing and implementing your own PDP, highlighting areas where further development is required. Share PDP with line manager to engage their support where relevant
    • Sell in new methods, and processes and seek revenue-generating opportunities
