Job Summary

• The manager is an employee who is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the operations and fiscal health of a business unit, division, department, or operating unit within an organization.
• The manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the work of a group of people in many instances.

Job Description

• Plan staffing levels.
• Keep track of monthly, quarterly and yearly goals
• Work with management to assess and improve processes and policies
• Monitor and report on revenue and cash flow
• Uphold and enforce company policies
• Address employee complaints or performance issues as needed
• Help management create the department’s budget
• Address customer issues and complaints
• Work with Human Resources staff to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees.
• Meet regularly with upper management to stay informed on company issues
• Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the operating unit in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
• Empower employees to take responsibility for their job and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
• Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the department.
• Plan and implement systems that perform the work and fulfill the mission and the goals of the department efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Bs admin or relevant field.
• 3 - 6 years experience as a manager
• Must have Knowledge/experience /connects in entertainment industry
• Must have Knowledge of how social media works.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience in business, supervision, management, entertainment, and social media.
• Knowledge of the functions, operation, and mission of the specific department.
• Better than average written and spoken communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.
• Management experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and department staff members.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic economics, budgeting, and accounting principles and practices.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
