Management Accountant at Netconstruct Nigeria Limited

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial performance reports for senior management.
• Analyse financial results and identify variances between actual performance, budgets, and forecasts.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop clear financial reports and dashboards for management review.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Coordinate the annual budgeting process across departments.
• Prepare financial forecasts and projections to support business planning.
• Monitor departmental expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgets.

Cost Management & Control:

• Monitor and analyse project costs, operational expenses, and procurement spending.
• Develop and implement cost control mechanisms to improve financial discipline.
• Conduct profitability and margin analysis across projects and operations.

Financial Planning & Business Support:

• Support the Finance Controller in financial planning, investment analysis, and financial modelling.
• Provide financial guidance to management on cost optimisation and revenue improvement opportunities.
• Participate in strategic initiatives requiring financial analysis.

Compliance & Internal Controls:

• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required financial documentation.
• Strengthen internal control systems to safeguard company assets.

Systems & Process Improvement:

• Support the implementation and optimisation of financial reporting systems and ERP tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in financial reporting and budgeting processes.
