Management Accountant at Fadac Resources

Job Summary

• As the management accountant, you play a key role in providing financial insights and performance analysis to support decision-making across the QSR chain. 
• This role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting, with a strong emphasis on store-level profitability, food and labor cost analysis, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Provide detailed variance analysis between actual results and budgets/forecasts, highlighting key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-term financial plans in collaboration with operations and executive teams.
• Track performance against budgets and provide insights into financial trends and potential risks.
• Monitor and analyze key cost areas, including food cost, labor cost, overheads, and delivery expenses.
• Evaluate profitability at the store, product, and region level to support operational improvements.
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to monitor KPIs and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support pricing decisions and promotional impact analysis.
• Assist with menu engineering and scenario modeling for new product introductions.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Support external audits and tax filings as needed
• Help implement and maintain accounting systems and reporting tools.
• Recommend and support improvements in financial processes and data accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred or in progress.
• 3–5 years of experience in management accounting, ideally in QSR, retail, hospitality, or FMCG industries
