• Create custom looks based on clients’ needs, such as weddings, photo shoots, or special events
• Apply makeup products like foundation, mascara, and lipstick using professional techniques
• Conduct makeup trials before special events or performances
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of all makeup tools and workstations
• Stay current on beauty trends, new products, and techniques to offer clients the most up-to-date looks
• Order, restock, and manage inventory of makeup products
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and wants
• Determine necessary supplies and equipment needed
• Apply makeup, cosmetics, mascara, eyelash, lip liner, eyeliner, powder, etc.
• Shape eyebrows, lip line, hair, and facial hair
• Style hair for special events such as weddings, parties, and photo shoots
• Provide makeup consultation and application for special events
• Identify clients’ skin type and ensure makeup will not cause breakouts or skin irritations
• Give advice on skin care routines
• Update and maintain customer information records
• Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in the makeup industry
