Maintenance Section Head - Feedmill (Electrical) at Sayed Farms Limited

Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Section Head –for its Feedmill with a strong engineering background and at least eight (8) years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in feedmill, FMCG, or manufacturing operations.
• The successful candidate will oversee plant maintenance, equipment reliability, utilities management, and maintenance budgeting to ensure efficient production and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, inspection, servicing, and repair of feedmill machinery, production equipment, and related systems.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to minimize equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.
• Oversee the maintenance of feedmill equipment, including hammer mills, pelletizers, mixers, conveyors, elevators, boilers, and packing machines.
• Manage industrial utilities, including power generation, electrical distribution, compressors, boilers, and other supporting systems.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, monitor expenditure, plan CAPEX/OPEX requirements, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Supervise maintenance technicians, allocate duties, and ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance and improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs, spare parts inventory, equipment performance, and maintenance costs while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of eight (8) years' experience in maintenance management, preferably in feedmill, FMCG, or manufacturing operations.
• Relevant professional registration or certification with COREN, NSE, or other recognized engineering bodies.
• Strong knowledge of feedmill machinery, industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance systems.
• Good understanding of industrial utilities, including boilers, compressors, power generation, and electrical systems.
• Proven experience in maintenance budgeting, CAPEX/OPEX planning, and cost control.
• Strong leadership, analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
