As the Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance, repair, and optimal functionality of the hospital's facilities, equipment, and utility systems.
Responsibilities
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on hospital equipment and facility systems.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimize downtime.
Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities with vendors and service providers.
Maintain maintenance logs and ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
Supervise repair and installation works to ensure quality and timely completion.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in facility or maintenance operations, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and vendor management.
Good analytical, communication, and report writing skills.
