Machine Operators at Handyware Industries Limited

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to achieve daily/shift production targets
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery
• Calibrate equipment and monitor gauges, in alignment with the standard operating procedures
• Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected
• Setup and adhere to the cleaning and maintenance schedules of machines to prevent failures
• Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Checklist and Manuals
• Investigate root causes in the case of defects make necessary corrections to avoid errors in subsequent batches
• Ensure compliance to the waste management procedures put in place to manage waste
• Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process
• Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order
• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations

Requiremements

• Minimum National Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering or related qualification and field. Previous experience in a similar role in an FMCG be an added advantage
• 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing environment
• Diligent and enthusiastic
• Able and willing to follow laid down procedures
• Quality Oriented and attention to details
• Collaborative
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
