Machine Operator / Machinist at Hobark International Limited (HIL)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for fabricating tools, Machining spears, and Threading/Rethreading Internal and External Customer equipment to API Specifications and Standards.
• Provide Maintenance/Refurbishment and Rethreading of tools in the Jar Shop, CTR, and Fishing, according to specifications.
• Operate the CNC lathe, manual Lathe, drilling machine, milling machine, and grinding machine.
• Check the machine set-up to ensure proper tooling and adjustments.
• Collect the respective connection gauges, gauging procedure, specification notes (if any), and inspection report from the QAQC room. While collecting the gauges, visually check if there are any damages and report immediately to the QAQC personnel.
• Operate the overhead crane/Hoist or any lifting device available for the movement of equipment and or materials.

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• National Diploma (ND) Minimum of ten years’ experience
• Should demonstrate technical competency, especially in machining techniques.
• This person must be able to show the ability to prioritize tasks to get timely results.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal or no supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret all drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and set-up requirements.
• Technical skills and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to use tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, and other accessories used in the machining operations.
• Ability to stand for a long period of time.
