Machine Operator and Supervisor Contrete at Julius Berger

What are your responsibilities?

• Operating and setting up WIRTGEN slipform pavers using the offset and inset methods
• Slipform Paver Operator (m/f/d) for the WIRTGEN SP 61(i), SP 62(i), SP 64(i), and TCM180 machines
• Coordinating workflows and liaising with the concrete crew, surveying team, and site management
• Monitoring paving quality, machine performance, and workplace safety
• Performing maintenance, servicing, and fault checks
• Documenting performance, malfunctions, and shift handoffs
• Ensuring timely and efficient construction site operations

Job Requirements
What do you bring?

• Technical training, e.g., construction equipment operator, road builder, concrete worker, agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics technician; comparable practical qualifications accepted
• Experience with heavy construction machinery
• Experience in concrete road construction, ideally with WIRTGEN slipform pavers
• Knowledge of machine controls, hydraulics, and surveying
• Operator certification, driver’s license, and HSE training
• Willingness to work shifts, at various construction sites, and outdoors
• Safety-consciousness, reliability, ability to work in a team, and a meticulous work ethic
