Logistics Supervisor at JMG

Brief Description

Ensure availability of trucks and allocating of trucks to fit loading plans/deliveries.
Duties

• Plan and allocate trucks efficiently for daily deliveries.
• Optimize routes to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Monitor truck availability and ensure timely dispatch 
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all transport activities
• Take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe act, condition, or procedure in the workplace, participating in fire or emergency drill at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary and adherence to Company policies
• Oversee the deployment and delivery process for generators and other heavy-duty equipment.
• Ensure deliveries are executed as per client requirements and timelines.
• Address and resolve any delivery challenges proactively.
• Supervise Trucks  drivers and ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Conduct regular performance assessments and provide necessary guidance.
• Enforce company policies and safety protocols.
• Provide real-time updates to clients on delivery status.
• Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with IMS (Integrated Management System) policies.
• Maintain accurate transport logs and operational records.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on fleet performance and delivery metrics.
