    Logistics Shift Supervisor

    Job Description: 

    Shift & Operational Management: 

    • Lead and coordinate all rider activities during assigned shifts, including shift planning, break schedules, and task allocation. 
    • Monitor dispatch timelines and delivery progress through GPS or delivery platforms to ensure on-time order fulfillment. 
    • Conduct pre-shift briefings to outline goals, share operational updates, and assign territories or delivery zones. 
    • Ensure riders are equipped with all required tools (motorbikes, fuel, safety gear, mobile devices) and conduct basic inspections. 
    • Maintain accurate shift logs, track order deliveries, and reconcile unfulfilled or failed deliveries at end-of-shift 

    Rider Supervision & Performance: 

    • Enforce punctuality, appearance standards, and customer service etiquette among riders. 
    • Monitor rider KPIs such as delivery time, order accuracy, customer feedback, and productivity. 
    • Provide coaching and support to riders to improve performance and adherence to service standards. 
    • Report incidents (accidents, customer complaints, delivery failures) and escalate major issues to the Operations Manager. 
    • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new riders as required. 

    Customer Service & Communication: 

    • Act as the first point of contact for escalated customer or delivery issues during the shift. 
    • Coordinate with front-of-house and kitchen teams to align order readiness with delivery schedules. 
    • Ensure riders maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers. 

    Compliance, Safety & Reporting: 

    • Ensure all riders comply with safety protocols, road regulations, and internal policies. 
    • Conduct regular safety briefings and incident drills with the rider team. 
    • Submit end-of-shift reports detailing delivery performance, incidents, attendance, and feedback. 
    • Support implementation of company-wide logistics initiatives and rider engagement programs. 

    Requirements: 

    • Previous experience in a administrative, or logistics support role. 3–4 years preferred. 
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with a professional and courteous demeanor. 
    • Basic understanding of logistics operations. 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail. 
    • Ability to handle high-pressure environments, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. 
    • Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts.
