We are in need of a Logistics officer who will be responsible for providing logistic support and overseeing the overall logistic processes in support of the objectives of the organization.
He/she will be responsible for the planning, oversight, and management and coordination of logistics support operations to ensure smooth delivery process.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing budgets, processing shipments and building delivery routes.
Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers.
Manage the dispatch riders to ensure swift and successful delivery.
Respond to and resolve complaints and problems.
Keep up-to-date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them.
Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.
Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
