• The Logistics Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the efficient movement of goods and materials within an organization.
• This role involves coordinating and managing various aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• The Logistics Manager is responsible for optimizing processes to ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure seamless flow of goods throughout the supply chain.
• Manage transportation activities, the company’s fleet of vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and availability.
• Oversee inventory management processes, including receiving, storing, and tracking inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of logistics activities with overall business objectives.
• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing for transportation and logistics services.
• Continuously assess and improve logistics processes to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• A Bachelor Degree in Logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Logistics Manager.
• Proven experience in logistics management, with a strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholder.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirement and industry standards related to logistics and supply chain management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
