Logistics Manager at Gatatransport Limited

Job Description

• We are looking for a qualified Logistics Manager to join our team, who will be responsible for planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services; directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle.
• The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong attention to details in order to oversee daily operations and logistics riders/drivers. In addition to having excellent organization skills, you should also possess in-depth knowledge of logistics and inventory systems.
• The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Order, track and report inventory and deliveries.
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
• Coordinate all deliveries for all locations and follow schedules for deliveries.
• Manage riders and drivers.
• Inspect and ensure vehicle maintenance.
• Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or relevant field.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
• Outstanding analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
