    Logistics Coordinator

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a proactive, organized, and results-driven Logistics Coordinator to oversee and coordinate daily fleet and logistics operations.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient deployment of vehicles, riders, and drivers, while maintaining high standards of operational efficiency, safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
    • The ideal candidate should possess strong logistics coordination skills, excellent knowledge of Lagos road networks, and the ability to manage multiple operational activities in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily fleet and logistics operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Assign vehicles, riders, and drivers for timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of goods.
    • Monitor vehicle movement and track deliveries to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Identify and resolve logistics challenges, delays, and operational issues promptly.
    • Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, roadworthy, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
    • Manage vehicle documentation, licensing, insurance, and other statutory requirements.
    • Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and operational reports.
    • Monitor fleet performance and implement measures to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, road safety regulations, and operational procedures.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure timely and satisfactory service delivery.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing logistics and fleet operations.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Transportation Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in fleet management, logistics coordination, or transportation operations role.
    • Valid driver's license with the ability to drive confidently.
    • Strong knowledge of Lagos road networks, traffic patterns, and route planning.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics management tools.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
    • High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
