We are seeking a proactive, organized, and results-driven Logistics Coordinator to oversee and coordinate daily fleet and logistics operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient deployment of vehicles, riders, and drivers, while maintaining high standards of operational efficiency, safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate should possess strong logistics coordination skills, excellent knowledge of Lagos road networks, and the ability to manage multiple operational activities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily fleet and logistics operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Assign vehicles, riders, and drivers for timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of goods.
Monitor vehicle movement and track deliveries to ensure operational efficiency.
Identify and resolve logistics challenges, delays, and operational issues promptly.
Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, roadworthy, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Manage vehicle documentation, licensing, insurance, and other statutory requirements.
Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and operational reports.
Monitor fleet performance and implement measures to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, road safety regulations, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure timely and satisfactory service delivery.
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing logistics and fleet operations.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Transportation Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in fleet management, logistics coordination, or transportation operations role.
Valid driver's license with the ability to drive confidently.
Strong knowledge of Lagos road networks, traffic patterns, and route planning.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics management tools.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
