Location Manager at Stackivy

Responsibilities

• Researching and identifying suitable filming locations that align with the project’s creative vision.
• Conducting site visits to assess feasibility, technical requirements, and compliance with safety standards.
• Preparing detailed location reports with images, costs, and logistical notes.
• Securing filming permits and liaise with local authorities, property owners, and relevant stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for filming.
• Developing and managing location budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
• Overseeing on-site preparations, including setup and teardown.
• Coordinating parking, power, catering, and other logistical needs for the crew.
• Providing input on lighting, sound, and environmental conditions.
• Implement safety measures to ensure a secure working environment for the crew and cast.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in location management, ideally within the marketing, advertising, or corporate video production sectors.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to location filming, including permits, insurance, and safety protocols.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams, vendors, and location owners.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Comfortable using production management software, spreadsheets, and other tools to track budgets, timelines, and locations.
