Job Summary:

The Loan Disbursement Officer is responsible for managing and executing the disbursement process for approved loans. This role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant release of funds to borrowers while maintaining proper documentation and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirement.

Responsibilities:

Loan Disbursement:

• Review and verify loan approval documents to ensure accuracy and completeness before disbursement.
• Process loan disbursements in line with approved terms and within established turnaround times.
• Coordinate with finance or treasury teams to facilitate fund release.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Ensure all pre-disbursement conditions are fulfilled
• Maintain proper records of disbursement documents and borrower information.
• Comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.

Customer Interaction:

• Communicate with clients regarding disbursement timelines, requirements, and status updates.
• Resolve queries related to disbursement or fund transfers.

Internal Coordination:

• Liaise with credit, legal, and operations departments to ensure a smooth and accurate disbursement process.
• Report any discrepancies or red flags to the appropriate department for further action.

Monitoring & Reporting:

• Track and report on disbursement volumes and turnaround times.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to streamlining loan disbursement operations.
