Loader Technician at Kuhl-Cher Limited

JOB SUMMARY

A reputable organization in the Oil & Gas sector requires suitable candidates for this position.TheLoader Technician must have strong technical skills, and an excellent understanding of operations management. He is responsible for operating the loadermachine and must ensure the seamless flow of trucks and products, at the depot.

• Minimum Qualification: Ordinary National Diploma/Higher National Diploma
• Experience Level: Mid-level
• Experience Length: 2-3 years

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Programming of customers’ loading tickets into the loading meter
• Loading outbound trucks according to requests on tickets
• Working with the Gantry Supervisor to ensure product quality, and accuracy in product quantity loaded.
• Delivering excellent customer service; ensuring that all customers are attended to in a timely manner, and complaints are resolved.
• Reporting of daily activities to the Gantry Supervisor, and escalation of anomalies in loading operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• OND/HND in an Engineering course
• Minimum of two years’ work experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of tank farm loading operations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong technical skills, comfortable working with electrical and mechanical installations.
• Ability to relate well across hierarchies within the organization
• Excellent customer service skills: service oriented, ability to empathize
