    LMP Pumpman

    Role Summary

    • The LMP Pumpman is responsible for the safe operation, monitoring and basic maintenance of LMP pumping equipment during field operations.
    • The role supports the LMP Supervisor in executing pumping jobs efficiently while maintaining strict compliance with operational and HSE requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate LMP pumps and associated equipment during field operations.
    • Assist with rig-up and rig-down of pumping equipment.
    • Conduct pre-job equipment checks and report defects or abnormalities.
    • Monitor pump pressure, flow rate, volumes and other operating parameters.
    • Assist with mixing, handling and pumping of treatment fluids and chemicals as instructed.
    • Follow approved job procedures and instructions from the LMP Supervisor.
    • Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure proper housekeeping at the worksite.
    • Assist with routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
    • Complete equipment and operational checklists accurately.
    • Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and emergency drills.
    • Follow all Company and client HSE requirements, including proper PPE use.
    • Immediately report unsafe conditions, equipment faults, spills, incidents or near misses.
    • Support the crew during mobilization, demobilization and other field activities.

    Requirements

    • 2–3 years’ experience in oilfield pumping/LMP operations or a related field.
    • Technical qualification such as OND/NCE/HND in Engineering, Science or a related discipline is an advantage.
    • Practical experience operating pumps and oilfield equipment.
    • Basic understanding of pressure control, fluid handling and wellsite safety.
    • Good mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
    • Physically fit and willing to work in field/rotational environments.
    • Strong commitment to safety and operational discipline.
