We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Associateto support our legal and compliance team. This internship is ideal for a recent law graduate looking to gain practical experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and financial services.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and internal policies
Conduct legal research and prepare briefs or memos on relevant issues
Support the legal team in ensuring compliance with CBN, SEC, and other regulatory guidelines
Help maintain organized and up-to-date legal records and documentation
Attend internal meetings and take minutes as required
Assist with administrative tasks related to the legal function
Requirements
A recent graduate with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from an accredited institution
Fresh out of Law school
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational ability
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Interest in financial services and regulatory compliance.
