• A prestigious law firm with Head office in Marina, Lagos is sourcing for a Legal Associate.
• The role holder will be responsible for helping clients achieve favorable outcomes with legal matters.
• S/He will advocate for clients, advise them on the best course of action, and implement the best legal support plan.
• The role holder will be involved in litigation, corporate governance, dispute resolution and arbitration matters.

Executive briefs in the following practice areas;

• Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution
• Property Law
• Employment and Labour Law
• ICT and Media Law
• Fiscal and Finance Law
• Air and Maritime Law
• Corporate and Commercial Law

Requirement

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) –Minimum of a Second Class (Upper Division).
• At least 5 years post call experience
• Prior experience representing clients in trials, mediation, litigation and arbitration
• Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
• Persuasive writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to write articles, newsletters and other thought leadership publications;
• Ability to use Microsoft applications; and
• Project and Time Management skills
• Great Interpersonal relations skills
• Excellent organizational skills
