Legal Associate at Hoop Telecoms

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Associate to join our legal team at Hoop Telecoms Limited. 
• The ideal candidate will support the company’s legal matters, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, drafting and reviewing contracts, and providing legal advisory on corporate and regulatory issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MOUs, and other legal documents.
• Ensure the company complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Provide legal advice on commercial, labor, and telecommunications laws.
• Handle legal correspondence and liaise with external counsel when necessary.
• Monitor and interpret new laws, regulations, and industry guidelines.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings when required.
• Support internal departments with legal documentation and risk analysis.
• Maintain accurate legal records and case files.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); BL required.
• Minimum of 5 years post-call experience, preferably in the telecoms or financeindustry.
• Sound knowledge of corporate and commercial law.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
