The health sciences are some of the highly patronized programs in the University, and Management continuously seeks avenues to strengthen them through the provision of the necessary state-of-the-art equipment as well as the recruitment of exceptionally qualified staff. Because of the need to reposition the programs as well as sustain the University’s remarkable achievements, we are currently seeking exceptionally qualified staff with outstanding integrity and demonstrable leadership qualities to join our highly motivated team.

Applications are thus invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions in the departments of Nursing Science and Medical Laboratory Science:

ACADEMIC POSITIONS

1. Senior Lecturer
2. Lecturer I

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

1. Senior Lecturer:
   
   Candidate must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant subject areas with a minimum of six (6) years post-qualification experience of teaching and research in a university or any recognized tertiary institution. Candidate must have a good number of publications and show evidence of research and academic leadership. Evidence of Google scholarship will be an added advantage.
2. Lecturer I:
   
   Candidate must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant subject areas with at least three (3) years post-qualification experience in teaching, and research as well as a good number of publications in reputable journals. Holders of a good master's degree with a substantial number of publications and teaching experience can also apply. Evidence of Google scholarship will be an added advantage.

Salaries, allowances, and other benefits are as approved by the Governing Council of Achievers University and markedly above what operates in public universities.
