Lead Internal Audit / Internal Control - Semi Senior at SIAO

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of an effective internal controls and corporate governance program; must be Familiar with Nigerian regulatory requirements.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls in business processes, systems, and financial reporting.
• Identify control deficiencies and make recommendations to improve the efficiency of operations and the control environment.
• Evaluate the adequacy of action plans and ensure Follow-up testing has been performed on all reported control deficiencies.
• Evaluates market strategies, finances, and deal prerequisites to screen potential business opportunities, advising on equity investments.

Qualification and Requirements

• A first degree in Accounting or any related discipline.
• A master's degree in Accounting is or MBA would be an added advantage.
• Minimum OF Associate Level Membership OF the Following professional bodies is a MUST:
• Certified Institute of Auditors (CIA), Institute of Chartered Accountants OF Nigeria (ICAN), Association OF Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).
• Consulting or multinational corporation work experience is a distinct advantage.
• Knowledge OF leading practice in internal audit, tools, techniques, concepts, and trends.
• Good understanding of Financial Controls, leading practices in financial service sector, IFRS accounting standards.
