Lead, Fund Manager at Allover Capital Plc

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

About the Role

• As the Lead Fund Manager, you will provide leadership to the investment management of the company's fund portfolios, by growing company's client base through direct sales and marketing activities to potential client to achieve periodical targets, through the formulation of investment strategies, product development and process improvement initiatives, maintaining coverage of assigned client research responsibilities and efficient trade execution across Nigeria.

What You will Do

• You will contribute to annual revenue generation by growing firm's client base through direct Sales and Marketing activities to potential client to achieve periodical targets.
• You will prepare funds management proposals to current and prospective client and drive product creation to suit client / investor appetite
• You will create new relationships and build beneficial relationships across the firm, as well as with key decision-makers in organizations client pipeline, in order to support the growth of the firm's client-base
• You will actively contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve the portfolio management function
• You will produce and implement a manual of procedures and processes for all investment-related activities to earn competitive returns through dynamic asset allocation between short-term and long-term compliant investment outlets.
• You will execute trade, including compilation and distribution of approved portfolio trade orders to counterparties.
• You will lead market research and analysis into uncovering both local and global macroeconomic trends, extensive research into various financial instruments, and in-depth review of mostly active instruments, in order to understand current trends, and forecast future performance of the portfolio.
• You will need to keeping up-to-date knowledge about the economy, current financial news and financial markets
• You will also be responsible for driving and sustaining strategic people management practices that support the organization’s ability to achieve its corporate objectives through employee engagement, talent retention and development
• You will review on a continuous basis, the portfolio asset allocation to achieve desired objectives and/or goals, and ensure compliance with regulations as relevant
• Must also ensure the funds operate in accordance with guidelines outlined by authorities, such as the Securities and Exchange Commission.

What You Will Bring

• Level of Education - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Management, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Social Science or any other relevant Degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• MBA added advantage.
• Professional certification in finance and/or accounting from a recognized professional body.
• Good written & Oral – English.
• Communication & Interpersonal skill.
• Good presentation skills.
• Financial analysis.
• Data analysis.
