The laboratory technician will primarily collect samples from doctors for medical testing, interpreting/writing reports on results and conducting imaging for pets at the request of doctors and or third parties.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct technical laboratory testing’s such as chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and immunology.
Ensure specimen/samples are properly labelled.
Maintain accurate record keeping of all lab results and reports.
Prepares laboratory analysis and compute a comprehensive report of all result of test samples and diagnostics carried out.
Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies. Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment.
Comply with all laboratory regulations in relation to safety, cleanliness and infection control.
Job Specification
Minimum of 3 years as a Laboratory Technician.
B.Sc. Holder in any Science related field.
Professional knowledge of medical laboratory equipment’s principle application and maintenance routine.
Adequate knowledge of laboratory safety measures and policies.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Exceptional inter-personal and teamwork personality.
Smart attention to details and information submitted by clients.
