Job Summary

• Responsible for conducting construction laboratory tests including soil, asphalt, concrete, and field tests, ensuring accuracy, compliance with standards, and proper documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct tests on concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates.
• Support secondary testing (permeability, strength, material acceptance).
• Record samples and compile test results in line with standards.
• Maintain laboratory compliance with accreditation requirements.
• Ensure proper equipment calibration and documentation.
• Keep the lab clean and organized.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Degree/HND in Civil Engineering/Technology or Geosciences.
• 2–5 years’ experience in a construction materials testing laboratory.

Technicians: Experience in soil, asphalt, concrete, and field tests.

Senior Technicians: Above experience + strong computer skills.

Assistant Technicians: Prior construction lab experience.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team player with basic computer skills.
