Lab Technician at Eastern & Western Hospital

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lab Technician to join our team at Eastern Western Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing results, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory tests: Perform various laboratory tests, including blood tests, urine tests, and other diagnostic tests.
• Analyze results: Analyze test results, identify abnormalities, and report findings to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records: Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results, patient information, and laboratory procedures.
• Operate laboratory equipment: Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, and analyzers.
• Follow safety protocols: Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology: A diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution.
• Registration or certification: Registration or certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician from a recognized professional organization.
• 2+ years of experience: At least 2 years of experience working as a Lab Technician in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
