Lab Analyst at Heirbase Management Solutions Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, receive and prepare samples for laboratory analysis.
• Conduct laboratory tests in accordance with approved procedures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory analytical equipment within the scope of competence.
• Record, verify and report test results accurately.
• Support quality control and process monitoring activities.
• Maintain proper laboratory records, sample identification and documentation.
• Report unusual, inconsistent or abnormal test results to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and good housekeeping.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and chemical handling requirements.
• Support calibration, routine checks and proper care of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with maintaining laboratory quality and documentation standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• OND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Science Laboratory Technology (SLT), Metallurgy or another related Science discipline.
• SSCE/IGCSE with at least five credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and one other Science subject

Experience

• 1 to 3 years' relevant experience, with experience in one or more of the following:
• AAS
• XRD
• XRF
• LIBS

Preferred Attributes

• Good analytical ability, attention to detail, accurate documentation, laboratory discipline and the ability to work effectively with production and technical teams.

Preference will be given to candidates who live in Ode Remo or nearby communities and can reasonably commute to the plant. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
