Your objective

• The ideal candidate will be required to implement innovative solutions and methodology in teaching delivery, thereby elevating educational standards in the classroom to expand life options for learners, empower communities and shape the future for the next generation of Edo youth living in all 18 Local Government Areas of Edo State.

Key Roles

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive English Language lessons
• Promote a positive and stimulating learning environment
• Help students excel in English Language and Literacy, ensuring a strong foundation for their educational development
• Nurture students to love reading and writing
• Ensure students proficiency in the English language.

Qualification(s)
What you need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.)/Bachelor's degree in English or a related field/Higher National Diploma (HND)/National Diploma (ND)/Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
• Teaching certification (TRCN) will be an added advantage
• Prior teaching experience and additional qualifications will also be an added advantage
• Unless otherwise stated, possess a minimum of second-class lower degree
• Possess NYSC Certificate/Exemption Letter if required
• Be tech-savvy: comfortable using smartphones, tablets, email and able to maneuver through mobile IT systems/applications
• Not more than 40 years for Teachers by December 31, 2024
• Possess excellent problem-solving, people management, verbal and written communication skills.
