    Junior RMG Manager

    • We are seeking a highly motivated Junior RMG Manager to play a pivotal role in our RMG team, who will be responsible for all RMG insights in NB Plc.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

    In this role, you will

    • Execute the analytical components of the RMG Levers (Pricing, PPA, Mix,Promotions,Channel discounts & trade term) Analyses to inform strategic commercial decisions.
    • Perform pre- and post-event analysis to calculate Promotion ROI and assess the effectiveness of all promotional activities. 
    • Analyze the structure of Discount & Trade Terms to track total discounts and calculate the crucial share of working discounts for efficiency reporting.
    • Conduct deep-dive analysis on Mix drivers (brand/pack/channel) to identify opportunities for improved Gross Profit through mix optimization.
    • Manage and ensure the integrity of sales and financial data used for RMG analysis. You will prepare and maintain reports tracking Business KPIs and RMG KPIs and contribute to the construction of the RMG Bridge (Gross Profit decomposition) and value tracking of RMG initiatives.
    • You will draft clear, data-backed proposals and scenario models to unlock new opportunities. This requires working collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to translate your analytical insights into strong, holistic RMG plans.
    • Lastly, you'll utilize advanced Data & Analytics to solve complex commercial problems and support decision-making. You will also prepare presentations with strong Communication & Influencing skills to socialize insights and assist in embedding core RMG capability across the organization.

    REQUIREMENTS 

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Management and other related field
    • Related professional Accounting or Audit certification, preferably internationally accepted, e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, etc. will be an added advantage
    • Masters degree is also an added advantage

    WORK EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG industry
    • Prior experience as data or business analyst preferred
    • Experience in working in a data driven environment preferred

    SKILLS

    Technical Skills:

    • Basic finance acumen backed by a comfort in dealing with analysis and numbers.
    • Basic knowledge in accounting systems, processes, and controls

    Functional Competencies:

    • Excellent writing & presentation skills
    • Great networking & influencing skills
    • Information gathering and interpreting skills
    • Organizational skills to manage demanding workload and priorities 
    • Strong project management skills
