Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Legal Practitioner at Carrillion Construction located in Lagos. The Junior Legal Practitioner will be responsible for handling legal matters, legal consulting, and communication related to the company's architectural and construction projects.
• Play a key role in negotiating and drafting commercial and vendor agreements, ensuring our partnerships thrive.
• Establish and streamline scalable contracting processes that boost efficiency.
• Provide essential administrative support for legal documentation to keep our operations running smoothly.
• Contribute to vital corporate initiatives, including litigation, employment matters, and trademark management.
• Collaborate in developing comprehensive company policies to address legal issues and enhance our corporate governance.
• Support compliance projects, with a focus on navigating data privacy regulations effectively.
• Conduct thorough legal research and keep our team informed of relevant laws and regulations.
• Work closely with legal counsel to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What You Bring: Requirements and Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree in Law or International Law; an LLM would be a plus.
• At least 2-3 years of international experience in legal/commercial matters related to SaaS contracts.
• A strong understanding of GDPR and other data privacy regulations to ensure compliance.
• Exceptional attention to detail for documenting complex contractual arrangements.
• A proactive and collaborative work style that encourages teamwork and innovation.
• Outstanding written and spoken English communication skills to effectively convey legal concepts.
