Job Description

• We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Java Junior Developer to join our growing engineering team. 
• In this role, you will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to build backend systems, services, and tools that support our learner and corporate platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks).
• Build and consume RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
• Debug, optimize, and refactor existing codebases.
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and designers to implement new features.
• Participate in Agile development processes and code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• 1 - 3 years of professional experience with Java.
• Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of OOP, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience with version control (preferably Git).
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Exposure to CI / CD, unit testing, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker).
