Junior Frontend Developer at Alpha Mead Group

Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Junior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly web interfaces that enhance the online experience for our real estate clients. You will work closely with the development and design teams to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring our digital platforms are modern, responsive, and functional.

Key Responsibilities:

Frontend Development:

• Develop and maintain responsive web pages using modern frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional and visually appealing web interfaces.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Code Maintenance and Optimization:

• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code that adheres to industry standards and best practices.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to improve application performance and functionality.
• Implement updates and enhancements to existing web applications.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of frontend components.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new ideas and improvements.

User Experience Enhancement:

• Focus on creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that improve the customer journey on our real estate platforms.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in frontend development and UI/UX design to continually improve the user experience.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough testing of web applications to identify and resolve any bugs or issues.
• Ensure that all web interfaces meet quality standards and align with the company’s brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• First degree in Computer Science/Engineering or any related field
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Frontend Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js (React preferred).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of backend technologies and how frontend interacts with APIs.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent Communications Skills (Verbal and Written)
