Junior DevOps Engineer at PayInvert Limited

Job Summary

• We’re seeking a passionate Junior DevOps Engineer to support the infrastructure that powers our payment gateway and transaction processing systems.
• You will help automate deployments, manage cloud environments, and ensure system reliability and security across our production and sandbox platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring and managing scalable AWS infrastructuretailored for high-volume fintech services.
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines for backend, frontend, and microservice deployment using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Support infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
• Monitor system health, performance, and uptime using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or DataDog.
• Participate in the setup and maintenance of disaster recovery and high-availability configurations.
• Help manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure logs and audit trails are maintained for compliance and incident investigation.
• Support the engineering team in debugging production issues related to infrastructure, deployment, or environment configurations.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Support role.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing environments (AWS preferred).
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Comfortable with scripting languages like Bash or Python.
• Strong commitment to uptime, security, and scalability.
• Passion for fintech and interest in learning how infrastructure supports payments.
